Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is used to treat both men and women experiencing imbalances or drops in their naturally-occurring hormones. Hormones are responsible for most of your essential bodily functions, so when they are disrupted in any way, cascade effects across all your systems can ensue.
What conditions can BHRT treat?
Most commonly, BHRT is utilized to ease symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, although we can use them to treat a wide range of conditions, including:● Mental clarity.● Low sex drive or libido.● Incontinence.● Anxiety.● Depression.● Andropause.● Fatigue.● Erectile dysfunction.● Insulin resistance.● Adrenal and thyroid disorders.● Osteoporosis.● Fibromyalgia.● Cancer.
What symptoms can BHRT improve?
Symptoms that are common with menopause such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, memory loss, weight gain, sleep issues, and low libido can be dramatically improved with BHRT. For many other conditions, BHRT can improve vitality, energy, mental clarity, mood, weight loss, and even muscle strength!
What types of BHRT are there?
BHRT comes in several different forms, and at ANU Medspa, we carefully take into consideration your symptoms, medical conditions, and history before making a recommendation for a specific treatment. Options may include:● BioTE® pellet therapy.● Compounded natural hormones.● Nutraceutical supplementation.
How is BHRT delivered?

● Implanted pellets.

The O-Shot®, also known as the Orgasm Shot®, utilizes blood-derived factors to help rejuvenate the vagina, helping women with urinary incontinence and sexual performance issues. Here at ANU Medspa, we are proud to provide this option to our female clients.
O-Shot® is a great treatment option for women experiencing decreased sex drive, urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness, chronic vaginal pain (from childbirth or mesh), or chronic interstitial cystitis. During treatment, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is injected into the clitoris, labia, and G-spot to promote healing of damaged tissue and growth of new blood vessels and nerves.
Results will vary from patient to patient, but many experience an ease in urinary incontinence, increased sexual desire and arousal, increased vaginal lubrication, heightened orgasm, and relief from chronic pain associated with childbirth mesh, and interstitial cystitis. The O-Shot® has also been used to treat lichen sclerosus and lichen planus.
Please contact us at (405) 285-4560 for more information or to make an appointment.

The P-Shot®, also known as the Priapus Shot®, is known for utilizing blood-derived factors to rejuvenate the penis. Here at ANU Medspa, we are proud to offer these services to our male clients.
P-Shot® is an excellent option for men who have lost function due to health complications such as prostate cancer, diabetes, or other conditions that impact sexual performance and function. The treatment lasts only about 15 minutes and uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from a sample of the patient’s blood to help promote the growth of new cells and rejuvenate damaged tissue.
Results will vary from patient to patient, but most experience firmer, longer-lasting erections, increased sensitivity during sexual activity, and an increase in the length and girth of the penis.

ANU Medspa is proud to offer platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy to our patients. PRP has continued to grow as a reliable way to effectively treat sexual dysfunction, and even has aesthetic applications such as improving overall skin and hair health.
How does it work?
Our blood predominantly consists of plasma, which carries red and white blood cells and platelets. PRP is created by drawing some of the patient’s own blood and then using a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets within a sample of the plasma. This concentrated sample of platelets is then combined with the original blood sample. We can then inject this platelet-rich blood into the treatment area. While results may not occur immediately, many women experience improved sensitivity, functionality, and muscle tone while improving the performance of sexual function and bladder control.
If you have questions about platelet-rich plasma therapy or would like to schedule an appointment, contact our office at (405) 285-4560.
